Conference Objectives:

The overall goal of this program is to address pediatric ophthalmology issues seen in a regular practice and also issues beyond the eye that affect the patients and families we care for.

At the conclusion of the meeting the attendee will:

• Discuss recent development in cataract management
• Discuss the issues of pain in eye surgery
• Understand the role of VEP in clinical assessments
• Discuss the importance of the Zika virus and the eye
• Better understand nystagmus and the orthoptic assessment
• Gain knowledge on recent information for premature babies
• Understand the role of genetics in diseases and new treatments
• Understand the resurgence of some infections
• Gain insight on issues related to screen addiction
