Fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese, Dr. Tam specializes in cataract and refractive surgery.
He is active in clinical research as co-investigator of a number of international and Canadian clinical trials. He has also presented at major ophthalmology conferences, including meetings of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Canadian Ophthalmological Society.
Dr. Tam is the recipient of many academic awards, and also has been recognized for his teaching skills as recipient of the award for Best Surgical Teacher in 2008.
