Annual Research Day

In lieu of our DOVS Annual Research Day we will be hosting four virtual Research Day Rounds via Zoom.

They will be held at 11:30am on the following Thursdays: May 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th. Each Round will consist of a Faculty Speaker, and a series of Trainee talks. We will send out the agenda once the speakers have been confirmed. Attendees will be able to ask questions via chat or video.

After careful deliberation with the Executive Committee, given our present circumstances we regretfully need to cancel our Annual University of Toronto DOVS Research Day. Of course this does not take away from the importance of research in our Department, but more reflects the gravity of our current situation and need for ongoing social distancing.

We will still publish the submitted abstracts both to share knowledge and to acknowledge your research accomplishments.

Given the circumstances we are going to extend the Abstract Submission deadline to April 17th, 2020:

Every year, our students, residents, and fellows give presentations and display posters of their research. Awards are given to the best submissions in various categories.  The Clement McCulloch Lecture is the highlight of Research Day. A visiting professor is invited to speak on an important research topic.
