Dr. David B. Yan completed his undergraduate training at the University of Toronto in Aerospace Engineering in 1986. He then continued his engineering training at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), where he completed a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He returned to Toronto in 1988 to attend medical school, and received his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Toronto in 1992. He completed a four-year residency program in ophthalmology at the University of Toronto from 1992 to 1996.
Dr. Yan is the Ophthalmologist-in-Chief at Mount Sinai Hospital and a staff physician at University Health Network (Toronto Western Hospital) and Kensington Eye Institute.

Dr. Harmeet Gill got his MD from McMaster University and completed an Ophthalmology Residency at DOVS before doing a Fellowship at the University of California in Oculofacial Plastic, Reconstructive and Orbital Surgery.

Dr. Janson Noble got his MD from the University of Toronto and completed an Ophthalmology Residency at DOVS before doing a Fellowship at the Harvard Medical School.

Dr. Radha Kohly
Dr. Radha Kohly is a medical retina specialist at Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre and an assistant professor in the Department of Ophthalmology & Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases affecting the vitreous and retina.
Dr. Kohly obtained a fellowship in medical retina from Moorfields Eye Hospital in London, England after completing her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Toronto.
She has a special interest in the diagnosis and management of inherited retinal diseases and uveitis. She is involved in the screening and treatment of retinopathy of prematurity in the Women & Babies program at Sunnybrook. She performs cataract surgery, with a special interest in patients with retinal diseases. She enjoys teaching and is an contributor to the post-graduate education of ophthalmology residents.

Dr. Yeni Yucel
Dr. Yeni Yucel is a certified pathologist specialized in eye diseases and tumours. Dr. Yucel is also a scientist with an active research program on translational ophthalmic pathology. His team’s research achievements include seminal discoveries including brain changes in glaucoma, and lymphatic drainage from the eye that were recognized by awards from Glaucoma Research Society of Canada, World Glaucoma Association, and New York Academy of Medicine. He serves in many editorial boards scientific journals, and was elected to serve as the Chair, Pathology Section, of the ARVO Meeting Committee.
