Director TORIC Residency Course
Amandeep Rai
Dr. Amandeep S. Rai MD FRCSC is a comprehensive ophthalmologist practicing at the Kensington Eye Institute and serves as the Residency Program Director for the Department of Ophthalmology & Vision Sciences at the University of Toronto. He is also the director of the Toronto Ophthalmology Residents Introductory Course (TORIC), which is an annual 6 week basic sciences course attended by all first year ophthalmology residents from across Canadian training programs. He has won numerous awards for his educational contributions to both medical students and residents at the University of Toronto. His clinical work is focused on cataract surgery, and his research on intraocular lenses, biometry, and complex cataract cases.
