Dr. Teichman has a keen interest in research, currently focusing on medical and surgical treatments of corneal disease. Dr. Teichman has won numerous awards including the Resident Excellence Award from the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and research awards from the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery and the Canadian Ophthalmological Society. Dr. Teichman is currently the Cornea Skills Transfer Course Directly for the Canadian Ophthalmological Society, and has given numerous presentations at international and national conferences.
