In 2008 she received the Canadian Ophthalmology Society Excellence in Research Award. In 2010 she was the winner of the John Gaby Prize for Best Fellow Research. She has published and presented her work at major ophthalmology conferences. Dr. Yuen has reviewed articles for the Canadian Journal of Ophthalmology, and has been the guest speaker for organizations such as the CNIB and the Glaucoma Research Society of Canada.
