OBJECTIVES:
1.Differentiate between benign, premalignant, and malignant ocular surface tumors, including conjunctival intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN), ocular surface squamous neoplasia (OSSN), and melanoma, based on clinical presentation, histopathology, and imaging modalities.
2.Evaluate the role of surgical excision, topical chemotherapy (e.g., mitomycin-C, 5-fluorouracil, interferon α-2b), and adjunctive therapies in the management of ocular surface tumors to optimize treatment outcomes and reduce recurrence rates.
3.Develop a structured approach for postoperative surveillance, recurrence monitoring, and patient education, incorporating evidence-based guidelines for long-term follow-up and prevention of malignant transformation.
